If you live in Konohana, Ina will instruct you in the business of accepting and completing Requests as well but your Reward will be 3 Bags of Turnip Seeds and 3 Bags of Potato Seeds. If you are living in Bluebell, Rutger will use the Request to introduce you to Jessica to give you your first Adult Chicken and Cow as well as Milker and Brush, although the actual Reward for the Request will be Chicken Feed and Fodder. ******************** The First Request ******************** The very first Request both in Bluebell and in Konohana is given by the Mayor as a Tutorial in accepting Requests. If you do not complete a Request in the time space given, it often will reappear a Season later, especially if the Reward is something important or unique. Ash will request Ingredients for a Dish for his sister more than once. The actual Item Requested may be different, but the Reward may be the same. Georgia, for example, will request fish ingredients for her Special Medicine more than once. You will find that the same Request will appear again and again, with some variations. New Tools, such as a Hammer and Axe, as well as new options, often are obtained through the Request system. Useful supplies, such as Pet Food and Chicken Feed as well as Cooked Dishes often are Rewards for completing Requests. Completing a Request with such Items usually is more profitable than shipping them, both in financial terms and in terms of boosting Friendship Levels. If more than one individual is involved in the Request, the Friendship Level of each will increase by +25 FP. Completing a Request for any Character raises Friendship by +50 FP. The daily 'meeting and greeting' ritual with any Character has a value of +100 FP. In a sense, it is as important to complete Requests as to give Characters Gifts regularly. Completing a Request will raise the Requester's FP as well. You need seldom buy Chicken Feed, for example, if you complete Requests regularly. Completing Requests regularly will give your Character Ingredients and Supplies that are extremely useful. Requests offer Rewards for Items that otherwise have little financial value, such as various Small Fish and Insects.
